The City of Maple Grove continually strives to adopt new and better methods for delivering the best quality drinking water to our residents.
Responsibilities
Per the requirement of the United States Environmental Agency particular to the city, random samplings are conducted of lead and copper levels in residential water supplies. Every month the city takes 70 sample tests in various locations to ensure safe drinking water. In addition, the Minnesota Health Department performs a complete system test every 18 months.
To date, all test results comply with the recommended guidelines set by this agency. In fact, the water meets or exceeds the State of Minnesota requirement of the Safe Drinking Water Act.
