Effective immediately, the TSA will not enforce its mask-related security directives, so neither will Maple Grove Transit. As a result, persons are not required to wear face masks while on Maple Grove Transit buses or while in our transit stations.
Maple Grove Transit had been following Transportation Security Administration (TSA) directives on the face mask requirement policy while on our buses or in our transit stations. A federal judge issued a court ruling that the Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) January 29, 2021, Order requiring masks on public transportation conveyances and at public transportation hubs is no longer in effect.
The CDC continues to recommend that people wear masks in indoor public transportation settings, and Maple Grove Transit supports and welcomes anyone who wants to wear a face mask.
